ORCHIDS for the Manitowoc Public School District, which in its agenda for Tuesday's board meeting explained the reasons for a planned closed session. The board has been vague in its reasoning for executive sessions in the past, much to the dismay of the public and especially Ron Kossik. Kossik, a candidate for the board in next month's primary election, has filed legal action to change the procedure. It's nice to see the board has decided to abide by the spirit of the state's open record laws.
